Massaged Kale Salad

Kale is a dark, leafy green that is packed with fiber, protein, antioxidants and vitamins A, C, K, and B6. It loves the cold weather, so it’s freshest in late fall or early spring. Try this simple recipe at home!



  • 3 Leaves of Kale
  • 1/2 Lemon
  • 2 Pinches of Salt



  1. Rip Kale Leaves off Stem
  2. Break off into Small Pieces
  3. Place in small Ziplock Bag
  4. Squeeze Half of Lemon into Bag
  5. Add Salt
  6. Close Bag and Massage for 3-5 Minutes until Kale becomes Softer, Darker, and Smaller
  7. Enjoy!
